The Teen Resource Center is an outreach program of the North Georgia Health District in Dalton Georgia. It is a place where teenagers in the Whitfield and Murray county areas can receive physical and emotional health care.

 

 

 


The Career Development Program teaches students the skills they will need in today's business world. One of program's goals is to help student increase their chances of getting a job. The program demonstrates techniques and strategies that contribute to a successful interview. Teens will be introduced to how to prepare for an interview, how to make a positive "first impression" and even discuss how to dress for an interview. Using role-play, teens will have an opportunity to practice typical interview questions.

Teens representing the local high schools are trained to help their peers by providing information about teen concerns. Teens are trained in public speaking and how to talk one-on-one with other teens about teen issues. The youth council provides a representative voice for the youth of each county in our district.
