Round #2: Choices"Let's Party..."
Tonight's the big night. The one you've been waiting for all week. There's a party at Gabriella's and you and some friends are going. Everyone will be there! Or at least you hope everyone will be there - especially KC! KC is so cool. Maybe KC will notice you tonight! You and your friends arrive at the party and it's already rocking. There's lots of kids, the music is jammin'! You wander through the house talking with friends and secretly looking for KC. There's lots of food, beer, and someone tells you the punch is loaded, and every once in a while, you smell weed. Gabriella sure knows how to throw a party! But where is KC?
Just as you come into the den at the back of the house, you see KC. Sitting there with a bunch of friends, KC is right in the middle telling some story as only KC can tell it. Everyone is always drawn to KC - there's just something about KC that people want to be near to - including YOU! Eyes black as night, and a smile that lights up the room, KC has it all! All of a sudden, KC sees you, smiles, and walks your way. Suddenly it's hard to breathe. Could KC be coming to talk to you?
KC walks right up to you and smiles that killer smile! Somehow you find your voice and you start talking about some trivial happening at school. KC laughs and looks right into your eyes. How can this be happening? KC is actually paying attention to you? KC's arm slides around you, and together you begin to move through the crowded room to where other kids are dancing. KC pulls you close and lightly kisses your face. You think your heart will beat out of your chest! You begin dancing to song after song ...
Suddenly KC pulls you close. It's the end of a song. KC offers you a beer, some punch, or something to eat.
What should you do?
A. Tell KC you're not thirsty or hungry right now!
B. Take the beer. You don't want to turn KC off and it's only beer!
FICTION! Alcohol and drugs have been proven to affect your ability to make good decisions. Even one beer can affect you! Are you willing to take a risk that you might make a bad decision later on tonight?
