Answer

The Department of Family and Children Services can provide welfare assistance to those that qualify including such provisions as housing, food stamps, medicaid, etc.

Health departments provide health services to include WIC, physical exams, etc.  Also, the Women's Enrichment Center in Dalton (706-278-1050) offers free ultrasound examinations for you and your baby.

Also contact the Family Support Council (706-272-7919) to see what valuable resources they may be able to offer you as well!
